I seen David at his offices in May 2022. The intial nerves of a consultation was such any easy process. I never felt judged by David or the team. They put my mind at ease very quickly. I knew I had the support I needed all along and felt very positive. I was booked in for my operation (sleeve) for 2nd August. The day came and I wasnt nervous at all as I knew I was in good hands. The team at Maryvale were nothing but supportive and everything was explained from 9am. The nursing team, including the anaesthetist to David had me calm all the way. Surgery was at 11am. I was back on the ward a little groggy and slept all that day. Got up and walked around the ward that night. The next day I slept most of the day too. Apart from having a shower and getting dressed I was in bed until I felt awake enough. Went for another walk and visited my sleeve sisters Kym and Priscilla and fellow sleever Ryan. I was so excited about my new future. I went home on the 4th August still very tired but the most positive I have in years. From that day, I have not suffered with nausea, vomiting or any real restrictions (cant do bread or any form of carbs to this day). I dont miss the things that caused me to be my former self. I am now 6 months and 31Kg down (David said Id lose 25-30Kg) and currently weighing 64.9Kg. From a size 18 to a size 10 (boarder if on size 8-9). I am so grateful every day as new things amaze me. I play a full game of netball running Centre, I have regained flexibility with yoga, no medication (apart from womens multi vitamins), blood pressure is normal, breathing is normal and life in general feels like I am back to where I was in my 20s and Im 57. Hair loss is minimal and only lasted about 2 months tops (its all regrowing again). I have my health and living my best life. Thank you everyone involved including my support base (family, friends and David). Do the reviews, and make the decision based on your own life. My life is so much better now. I did this through my superannuation and would do it all over again without a second thought.

I highly recommend Mr Scott if you are considering weight loss surgery. I had a sleeve gastrectomy approx 2 years ago and Ive achieved weight loss that exceeded my expectations and my health has improved beyond measure. I felt informed and supported throughout the whole process. Mr Scott explained everything and I felt confident in my decision and Mr Scott as my surgeon. No regrets at all, extremely happy with the service and care.

6 months ago I had gastric sleeve done and it was the best decision of my life. I am now done 50kg and it has changed my life in so many ways. I have a 2 year old son and because of the surgery I will now get to do so much with him and not be so tired and exhausted all the time. I would recommend anyone who is struggling with there weight go and see Dr David scott. Thank you for everything

I would like to thank David (Mr Scott)and his team, Maryvale private,and the girls that work in Davids rooms!! I first seen David in May 22 to discuss weight loss surgery after years of struggling to loose weight trying everything, he was very professional and explained everything I needed to know re weight loss surgery and the best option for me, we decided sleeve was the best option for me and was booked in for august 2nd 2022, my surgery went well other than a bit of nausea upon waking up, David came and seen me after surgery and every day after, home in 2 days and I havent looked back have had no negative side effects and my follow up appointments with David have been great!! I am 26kg down and my health has improved ,off all meds, and my confidence has gone from none to heaps!! So happy!! Just need to stop buying clothes $$$ Anyone considering weight loss surgery I highly recommend Mr Scott, and his reception girls are very helpful, if needed. Thanks again Mr Scott one happy customer!
