Lighthouse Playground

A playground centred around a lighthouse as a climbing wall, ladder and slide activity. The playground does get busy and the kids seem to enjoy the lighthouse, the music activity, the octopus, the small play gym, and swings.

Small secluded playground, but kids love it. Nice view and picnic area.

Wonderful rest area/playground for a short stop or a few hours. The playground has a nautical theme with a tall lighthouse play structure that looks out to the nearby Westernport Bay. heaps of large shady trees, shelters, lots of tables and benches, shaded free BBQ area with 2 hotplates and a freshwater tap. There is a security fence around the bay facing side of the playground with a child proof gate that gives access to a raised walkway to a lookout platform over the water and mangroves. There are public toilets nearby with an outdoor coldwater shower. This whole area can be extremely busy on weekends with the park and adjacent boat launching facilities which are now free. The whole are is very well maintained, clean and there are several collection boxes around the area asking for a gold coin donation, which seem more than reasonable to maintain the facilities in such good condition.
