        Hidden away in the Victorian High country near the historical town of Aberfeldy, this key part of the Gold mining history is well worth the detour to visit. The old mine shaft is still visible and even tho its covered over you can still see right down into it. There are a number of artefacts from the mining day still here, including the old chimney. This is a spot accessible by 2wd vehicle but is a long dusty road to get here, there are many other great spots to visit in the area, that are accessible only by 4WD.
