The facilities are very age appropriate and plentiful and that's about where the good points end. Oh and the toilets were clean. The food options are incredibly poor especially considering the no outside food rule, which I understand the need for. The staff were incredibly rude. I attended with my two year old, my baby, my friend and her son. My friend paid for her son and my eldest. Thinking that covered us all, as the website says kids under 9 months are free with junior entry, I preceded to enter the gate but the woman told me I had to pay for the baby. Who was asleep in the pram at the time. It was very clear I was with the person who paid for my daughter that we were one group but I couldn't be bothered arguing the point with someone clearly so grumpy so I paid.
While the kids were playing in one section a staff member came up and told all the kids to get out as it needed to be cleaned. There didn't seem to have been any incident where the section would require cleaning in the middle of the play time (about 11.30 at this point) thankfully the kids were easily distracted and moved to another section. I don't understand why cleaning is happening during play time? If something had happened to cause a mess that needed cleaning asap why were children allowed in the section before it was cleaned? Shouldn't all equipment be cleaned at the end of the day? Does that mean it wasn't cleaned since the same time the day before? Seems pretty strange and playing with fire to expect toddlers to stop what they're doing at a play centre. We thought we might get a snack before we left but at $2 for a mini woolies cupcake the size of my thumb we left it there. Won't be be back. Shame because we were scoping it out for a future birthday party.
