Not "Same Day". Ordered on a Friday morning, arrived Wednesday following week. Nonetheless, I wasn't fazed by this. Kudos to them for the prompt (same day) call confirming the order and providing a rough estimate (the following Tuesday or Wednesday) regarding delivery. However, at the time of ordering and on the confirmation call, I emphasised that I needed to know, a day in advance, the day and approximate time the unit would be delivered, to take time off work and ensure I was at the property to take delivery. They said they'd let me know well in advance when the unit would be delivered. As I hadn't heard anything from Same Day Hot Water, I called them on the Tuesday arvo. They advised me that Tradelink would deliver the unit the following morning. Again, I requested that Same Day Hot Water get Tradelink to call me a few hours before delivery to confirm the time. The next day, heard nothing from Tradelink, but in order to ensure unit was not left there unattended, I arrived at the property early and waited for a call from Tradelink. Mid-morning a Tradelink ute showed up, and unloaded the unit. Box says "Must be kept upright", but the delivery driver had it in the tray on its side. Later called Rheem, who advised that there was a 50/50 chance the unit would have problems as a result! Then called Same Day Hot Water, was transferred to a plumber authorised to service Rheem units, who advised that there wouldn't be any problems with it, and to call back if there were... Really, Same Day Hot Water (at least for Melbourne customers) seems to be simply a Call Centre who buys units from other retailers (e.g., Tradelink), sells them cheaper, and gets that retailer to deliver the unit. Tradelink were more expensive for the same unit, but dealing with a 3rd party (Same Day Hot Water) to get it cheaper was a hassle. Also, link to review Same Day sent 10 mins after purchase - how can I review a service before the product is even delivered? That would only being reviewing a website...

After receiving a ridiculously high quote of $2450 from Elexa Plumbing and Gas for the Rheem 125L hot water system (which, by the way, they charged me a $200 cash call-out fee for when I denied their quote), I decided to contact Same Day Hot Water Service. To my delight, they provided me with a quote that was half the price! I couldn't be happier. When I questioned Elexa Plumbing and Gas about their high quote, they accused Same Day Hot Water Service of being a "dodgy company". I was shocked at their lack of professionalism and morality.
