Once you've bought the car, you'll get no service at all, calls and messages ignored. You'll get the car manuals in Japanese so useless, and other issues remain unresolved. The info and sound system has no useable instructions. The car arrived empty despite being told it would come with a full tank. It came without the RWC advertised and it was supposed to have a 3 month warranty which now seems meaningless.. Moreover the LMCT number on their website appears to be invalid, so I'll pursue that with Consumer Affairs Victoria. Having researched further with CAV and the ACCC, Romesh has sold me a vehicle that is unsafe, given that the only manuals are in Japanese, so there is no essential safety, or even basic information. THESE ARE MATTERS OF ROAD SAFETY There are various pieces of equipment stuck on the windscreen and dash, but no information about what they are or what they do. My car is under warranty until the end of March (statutory warranty). My lawyer advises me that multiple provisions of motor vehicle trader legislation (Victorian and Commonwealth ) have clearly been breached, and to progress the matter with VCAT. In short, all Romesh had to do was comply with the law (RWC, no written contract and other provisions), answer my questions and send me the English language manuals. Now he will be facing multiple penalty points FOR BREAKING THE LAW, since I have exhausted every possible means of addressing these issues
