The Mudadgadjiin Shelter is located inside the Black Range (Burrunj) State Park. About 400m walk from the Mudadgadjiin Picnic Area carpark. There are some steps, but not difficult walk. The is a toilet next to the carpark. Just a natural composting toilet like many other is the national parks, so don't expect too much. There are few camping areas at the south of the state park, around the Rocklands Reservoir. It's an area significant to local Aboriginal people for thousands of years. Behind the Shelter, you can have some magnificent views of the Black Range. It might not as popular as the Grampians, but it's quiet, peaceful and beautiful, and no regular tourists.
