Ordered the corn fritters. I have never been served such vile hate on a plate. The corn fritters seemed to resemble something out of a witches horror movie from the 80's. It was absolutely amazing at how tasteless they actually are! I genuinely believe they where re heated in the microwave then boiled before being slapped on the plate, if I brought a tasteless reheated microwaved corn fritter soup I could of taken responsibility for it. But this was something else. I would be embarrassed to serve such a plate, I almost felt offended that someone expected me to eat it. I have also never been to a place that has so many signs and rules! There was 5 different signs to read with multiple warnings and rules from the front door to the entrance of the first room. If you want to start your day off with good service then all your hopes and dreams smashed then this is the place to go.

I had the chocolate volcano cake. Absolutely delicious. Beautiful old building. Lovely owner.

Fantastic. Food and drink options are amazing, customer service is fantastic, and it is a pleasure to dine in such a delightful historical building! Our visit for morning tea, became a lunch! After another weekly visit to 1868, I'm still amazed at the drinks and the range of cakes to try.... Something different each visit!
