Great service fair price car finished when promised

Came to this business to book in for some work on my vehicle. Waited a couple of weeks to be able to get in once the booking was made, which was only 3 days prior to going away on holidays. Discussed thoroughly the work I wished to have done, and asked for pricing on an electric brake controller and a celfigo system. The woman at reception told me they wouldnt be able to do the celfigo at the same time, and I said that was fine, I would have it, and the electronic brake controller done at another stage. From there, the agreed booking was to check my dual battery wiring, install extra power plugs in the front and rear of the vehicle, and install 4 work lights on the roof racks, switched independently from within the cab. The receptionist said it wouldnt be a problem, and to just explain to the auto elec on the day. The auto elec appeared and spoke to me in person out the front, and said that he could used colour coded conduit to run the power to the roof for the work lights, and that they could be switched independently. Today, my partner drops the car off as is told they cant do all the work, so I call. The owner says Itd be over $1000 worth of work, Im not sure how this is an issue??? Youve now lost this job, the brake controller, the celfigo, and any future work. Absolute joke of a business
