NO STARS ARE YOU KIDDING ME. I LIVE IN PUBLIC HOUSING NOT BY CHOICE. I HAVE RANG THE COUNCIL OUT OF DESPERATION AND OR IN THEIR OFFICES. I HAVE BEEN MET TONNES WITH RUDE DISRESPECTFUL BORDERING ON PSYCHOTIC IF NOT THEY WERE BEHAVIOURS FROM STAFF ON PHONE OR IN PERSON FROM CUSTOMER SERVICES FROM CITY OF PORT PHILLIP AND THEY ARE THE FIRST POINT OF CONTACT TO ALL. WASN'T JUST ONE OR TWO OR SOMEONE HAVING A BAD DAY THIS HAS BEEN OVER THE YEARS YES I SEE YOU ALL AS WELL. YOU CANT DO YOUR JOB AND PROVIDE CUSTOMER SERVICES GET OUT AND HAND IN YOUR RESIGNATIONS OR BE SACKED EVENTUALLY!!

Andrea at the front desk was so helpful I didn't have the correct documents for my parking permit, but she showed me all I needed to do to become eligible; she was really clear and friendly.

As a resident of this council, I find their reasoning (or lack thereof) archaic. In my opinion, regardless of being a property owner or tenant, you are making a contribution to the economy one way or another. It would seem that Port Phillip council has a one size fits all approach which does not cater to those who have a little less. I think that if they REALLY cared for their residents, they should consider that nuance is a thing. Countless times I have been given an infringement for parking out front of my property with a permit (which is restricted as it is) and thrown the book at. Then, when you try to be challenge this, they obstruct you in every possible way. Granted, I may have been complicit in this at times. The system distorted. It makes the council richer $, but oh so poor in ethics. Im sure Im echoing a great deal of others reviews here. Whatever happened to equity?

I have been driving down beach road for the last 2 months since the new project started in Brighton. I have seen a homeless woman sleeping infront of the toilets at south Melbourne beach for the past 2 months. regardless weather or not its a council issue, can you please sort out this woman and put her in adequate housing! Im sure you would have noticed here laying there! you cant sit your car 5 minutes over the hour without getting a ticket. Please put her in a house!
