Fawkner Park North East Playground

Whats it like to be second best?

This one's more for the older kids though my toddler enjoyed playing here more than the toddler playground which is just a short walk away in the same park, especially on the balance beam and platforms with varying height. There's a lot of climb and balance play - webbed ropes, steps, poles, beams, wall etc. 3 slides, tic tac toe sliders, parallel bars, even a track ride! Mature tree right in the middle so there'll always be partial shading which helps especially on the warmer days. My toddler also enjoyed exploring the mini church garden just next door. No swings in this playground. Public toilet short walk away. If you're with a pram, make sure to take the tram to/from Fawkner park stop (has stop for both directions), Walsh st stop (even though closer) is not accessible.
