Really sorry to say I won't be back. Sent out chips that had obviously been sitting there a while, meat in the middle of the burger was raw. Incompetent people in the kitchen on the 28th of may around 5 30. At least they gave a refund with no fuss.

My partner and I came here for the first time for an 'international burger day' deal they were running. It had been raining and the floors were really slippery when wet, I have never been in a restaurant with such slippery floors, so you have to walk around the wet areas as though you're walking on ice. We ordered the classic plant and the basic fried chicken burger (unsure of what it was called), alongside two soft drinks and chips. The classic plant's bun was oily (?) and undertoasted, the coca-cola syrup-to-water ratio was way off and meant the cola tasted odd, and the chips were some of the saltiest I've ever had, they were unfinishable. I also ordered a thickshake which they forgot about, serving customers who ordered after us their thickshakes first and they only started making mine when I went up to the order counter to enquire on where it was after we were already halfway done with our burgers. When I was handed the thickshake the cup was covered in the drink all around the outside in quite a coating which wasn't attempted to be washed off my the employee, getting the drink all over my hands and dripping on the floor until I found some napkins to wipe it down. It overall seemed like there weren't enough staff rostered on, and the staff that were on weren't fully trained (putting way too much salt on the chips or not toasting the burger buns enough, and not knowing the correct measurements to make the correct amount of thickshake). I had never been to a Betty's burgers before but my partner had, and he said that he had never had these issues before at other locations, so it is a staffing issue rather than a recipe issue. I would not recommend anyone go here on a Sunday, because it seems like in an effort to save on employee wages, they don't roster enough well-trained employees on to handle demand, so your food will not be great! This was a very disappointing first Betty's experience and we will not be returning.
