Went as a pair of friends to Iluka for a lovely night of glamping by the lake, it was so beautiful to hear the frogs at night and the birdlife in the morning. Felt like we were the only people there! The peninsula is one of my favourite places in the off season, and even though it rained plenty - we stayed dry in the shelter and the tent was super cosy with blankets and hot water bottles. Went out for dinner (although could easily have cooked for ourselves in the well equipped camp kitchen) and came back for a nip of port by the fire.

If you are looking for a romantic weekend away. We would not recommend this at all. Firstly the tents themselves were fine, beds comfy but just a tent. Extremely cold in winter so avoid that. The toilets are shared and only two of each which wasnt stated beforehand. Even though the map shows paths to the tents there is no paths whatsoever and is very steep and slippery. Super hard to get to your tent. There is also no policing noise. We stayed two nights and both nights had people playing loud music and yelling till well after midnight. You are supposed to be quiet after 10 and with tents you can hear absolutely everything so ruined all the nights. Overall it is definitely not worth the $470 for two nights for an unpowered tent.

I'm not sure what some of these other reviews are referring too. Mattress was mega comfy! Tents nicely laid out. Kitchen & bathroom facilities were immaculate. The grounds were nice to walk around and the views with the birds and hills were fantastic. Well worth the price :) Rooms : 5/5 | Service : 5/4 | Location : 5/4 More

WOW! What a experience... The tents are beautifully set out & each has a beautiful view... It was so quiet & relaxing... Recommend bringing your own nibbles & drinks to enjoy on your little deck. The bathrooms & kitchen were nice & clean & had everything you would want for your time there. Can't wait to book again!
