Dr John Moi spent an hour and 10 minutes with me, asking every question he could about my possible disease. He then examined me basically from head to toe very thoroughly, then discussed with me the possibilities that are causing my issues, and narrowed it down to 2 diseases. Then asked me to do specific blood tests and X-rays to rule out any last options. He has asked me to come back in 3-4 weeks for a follow up and official diagnosis. As my issue is extremely unknown, I appreciate the level of effort he put into our consultation, much more than any other doctor I have seen. Cannot recommend him enough. Made me feel extremely comfortable and validated.

Dr Moi provides a personalised service to patients with rheumatod arthritis. He encourages patients to be involved in decision making. He is sensitive to the needs of rural patients by utilising telehealth consultations which has been very helpful for our family.

I was pleased to read the high rating reviews for this person and pleased that I had a referral to this person. The first appointment was encouraging although a diagnosis was made over the desk without any actual tests at that particular time for this diagnosis. Follow up consultations were less and less helpful after tests were performed at the hospital. Follow up contact via expensive phone consultation not covered by Telehealth was of some benefit. ( being sent elsewhere). Further enquires for test results have gone unanswered as I have the feeling that I am now an unprofitable nuisance. Phone service ( reception ) or lack thereof is sheer arrogance.
