I would strongly recommend anyone looking for a friendly, attentive and caring doctors clinic to visit reservoir medical group. I visit Dr Eileen Yap and always feel listened to and cared for after our appointments. She never rushes me out. The reception staff are also very patient and thorough. So happy I found this clinic!

Long wait time the doctor was completely useless refused to give me a mental health plan because a) they dont give mental health plans first appointment (never told me this) and b) you have to be officially diagnosed to get a mental health plan (which is an incredibly strict reading of the rules around this). Would not recommend. I went to a new doctor the following day and they were happy to give me a mental health care plan immediately so it seems pretty clear to me that they just follow the rules incorrectly. This is negligent in my opinion as people could be missing out on vital mental health support just because the practise has an incorrect reading of who is eligible for mental health care plans.

The young doctor was more interested in playing Who's The Boss than listening to her patient. It was like a game to her and I had to repeat myself often. So when I had had enough I got up to walk out (never had to do that before!) and this seemed to jolt her into being somewhat more respectful of my situation. For the remainder of our session I kept having to defend myself from not-so-subtle insinuations. I think she forgot I came to her in good faith, for real help, because I was suffering a real affliction, and not to be judged by her adolescence. Just unbelievable. It was the worst medical consultation I've experienced to date and unfortunately not the first time I had issues at this clinic. I for one will most definitely not go back there.
