My current glasses got too much scratches and a bit hard to watch close. Spacesaver got light frame and cheaper. So I went to them. After doing eyes test. They suggested me to use multi focal lenses. They are glasses professional. With no doubt, I trusted them and accepted their advice. Two weeks later, picking up the glasses and tried on. Only center if lenses was clear. As long as my eyes looking to the left or right, the view was blurred. They said it needed time to get use to it. Using it or two days, apart from looking left and right was blurred, when walk down stair, could not see the stair clearly. It was really hard to work with it. Brought back to Gary and they did eye test for me again to addressing the problem. They made another two pair of glasses for me. Very happy to pickup. Tried it on, much better than the previous one. But still not as good as the one. I thought I could get use to the new one. Then was very happy to go home with the new glasses on. However, I found that I needed to catch the very tiny middle horizontal area watch long distance stuff. The top apart of the lenses were supposed to be clear when look far away objects, but it does not. Now I am still using the old glasses and two pairs $8xx dollars glasses just sitting at home. It was the first time in my life so much troublesome to make new glasses. I have told Gary that I would not go back to him even if the re-make glasses really not good for me. Because they have already tried their best. I also appreciated their help. And there will only be unhappy for both sides if I brought back to glasses to them again. I sacrificed myself to stop the problem. Forget it and and bless for Spacesaver. I took my current glasses back to high point OPSM and did eye test again. They said I did not need multi focal lense. Lookimg far sight got nothing changed, just need to increase 0.25 power for reading or watching close objects. They wiped off the eye test fee for me, but I still needed to pay $6xx dollars for the new glasses. I think I will stay with OPSM the coming years.
