Good coffee but croissants are stale. Been coming here for years as I like the chill atmosphere.

After waiting 2 hours for our food and kept being told just another 10 minutes, we left starving for Maccas. I wouldve just liked transparency from the start.

We had a booking of 22 on the 28/5 after the Dementia walk. Everyone was really looking forward to getting in for a nice, well deserved breakfast. However as the original scheduled time for the walk had to be postponed, a member of our party had to reschedule to the derision of the owner. We were not cancelling, just rescheduling. We arrived and it was a shambles from the beginning. The staff we grossly understaffed and after a decent time we eventually got coffees. We preceded to order and we were happy to wait a little while as to be empathetic to the situation yet we ended up waiting over 90 minutes, Everyone got their meals sporadically, I was the last who didn't even receive my meal. No apologies, or even letting us know anything was on the way. The staff were set up to fail that day, were not adequately prepared for the situation and the owner was nowhere to be seen for the biggest day for brunch of the week. I was ridiculously annoyed and wouldn't ever recommend anyone experiencing that again.

Awesome food in a cool corner cafe. Great ambience and excellent service. Very happy with our meal selection but still had food envy seeing the breakfast in bed the chilli crab scramble and the naughty boy. Wow! Cant wait to come back.
