It has been quite some time since I went through a 1:1 program with Jaya. It was sometime in 2013-2014 and our discussions went on for many days. Jaya took me through an amazing journey of looking within - into feelings, emotions and intuition. Through her well devised exercises, thoughtful approach and deeply inquiring questions, we were able to identify, the emotional-void- absolute lack of emotional self, which was a blind-spot for me. This hindered creativity and self expression completely - to a point of complete block. Though her encouragement though, I could find some sparks of it. We finally concluded with certain deep objectives, that I wished to achieve and crafted a flag to visualize those internally. Sessions included many things : Paintings, Writing poetry, expressing feelings and so on. All very enjoyable but one that deeply touch the inner self and drag out the demons- forgotten memories - which may be lurking around. Here are some rhyming lines that I could write - to my own surprise - in one of such sessions, where I was asked to write some thing poetic about the light-house : Quite a sailor lost in the dark, But for me, they now stand a chance, To live and enjoy the fruits of life, I am the light house that shines bright I am the light house, standing right & showing the light. Overall these sessions are really beneficial to folks who may not have been able to express themselves / achieve to their fullest due to blocks in their emotional and mental self (and may be many other types of such issues, which I am not fully aware of). It is a way to free your self from self imposed bondage and fly free. Of course, many thanks to Jaya for developing the content with such deep understanding , and being there and mentoring her clients & students to exorcise their hidden demons.
