Such a shame stupid Covid shut this amazing institution down, I'm 42 years of age and have been coming to the Cuckoo all my life with my whole family, celebrating every parents, child's, sons, daughters, cousins, niece's and nephew's birthdays within my european family for more than 40 years, my parents even being on first name basis with the original owners. It would be a fantastic legacy, and testament to the Cuckoo if the new owners of this wonderful establishment, would honour the 60 plus years of traditions and family orientated staples this institution has to offer. Here's hoping for another 40 years of family attendance to my favourite of restaurants to come in the near future, with the potential new owners honouring this fine one of a kind Bavarian time capsule. Cheers Cuckoo! Thankyou for a lifetime of memories.....Love you forever!...

Brought up with a German mother, the food is magnificent, a very Cody place especially in winter, a long drive from Melbourne but well worth it.
