A Cottage in the Forest

I barely have words to describe how amazing this place was, the pictures do not do it justice its absolutely beautiful!! Beautiful private spot, so tranquil and peaceful, we didnt leave the whole stay! Spa bath is hugeeee! The beautiful breakfast basket, dvd selection and games to play all made the stay wonderful. They even gave us our special request of sparkling water as we dont drink. Only small downside was the tv in the bedroom was broken but that didnt really impact us at all. Thank you so much to the team who maintain this place, its perfect and we cant wait to go back! Also add, you will definitely need a mid-large car as the driveway is very steep.

The place is very private, surrounded by forest - no one can see into the windows. The house is lovely with decent sized kitchen, bedroom, lounge room and bathroom. There is a large spa bath in the bathroom (fit for two) as well as a shower. The bedroom has a great view of the forest, but the mattress sagged on one side (hopefully it will be replaced). There is a large selection of DVD for indoor entertainment, but the house is a short drive from many walks so why stay in? The driveway is steep but I had no trouble with it in my small car, but would have if the weather was very wet. I definitely recommend this little cottage.

Amazing place to get away to for our anniversary! Home away from home ;) Loved the wonderful forest views from the bedroom and the relaxing vibe and fireplace. Only complaint we had to the main office is the bottom of the driveway (right by the front door) wasn't made for some cars, as the potholes and uneven ground resulted in us getting slightly bogged and unable to get out for about 30 minutes. We eventually made it up the driveway but with great difficulty and a bit of panic. This was in a large SUV with all-terrain tyres too. Hopefully the owners have looked into this issue since our visit. Otherwise, perfect winter escape! Loved it ! Mike and Steph
