        My wife and I, together with our adult children and partners, spent the Cup Day weekend and Kim's Country House Retreat. Despite the rain, we found this to be the perfect location for our family. There was plenty of room for 8 adults and two dogs; the abundance of clean, comfortable living spaces meant we weren't under each other's feet. The pizza oven and hot tub were special highlights. The property was well appointed, very clean and welcoming - the personalised welcome note, farm fresh eggs and local produce samples were a nice surprise. I'd highly recommend Country House Retreat as a great place to stay while exploring the Lakes area or even if you just want to enjoy the peacefulness of the bush setting.
