Poor experience with off the plan townhouse. At the last minute seller pulled out due to some minor changes that we had agreed as a new buyer apparently came forward that would make it easier for them rather than honouring the deal we had. Wasted significant time and money on legal fees through the process. Was also provided incorrect details throughout process that would have been costly. Luckily we had a lawyer assist with the contract otherwise had we signed would have been largely out of pocket! Don't recommend.

I have had a very bad recent experience with this developer with an off the plan development in Brunswick. After negotiating inclusions into a contract and agreeing to a price we put down a holding deposit while the contract was finalised by their solicitor and ours. We were advised in writing of the stamp duty estimates based on what dutiable value. The day we went to sign our Solicitor advised us that we had been provided the wrong information from the developer and it was going to cost us 50k more than the initial amount advised in stamp duty if we signed 5 days before the end of financial year. Due to this we advised we wanted to wait for the new stamp duty incentives to come into effect on the 1st July (5 days later) even though this was still going to cost us twice what they had originally advised and we offered to transfer the full 10% deposit. Even though we had been advised the incorrect information they wouldn't wait the 5 days and have since sold the property to someone else. We are now out of pocket for legal fees but I am glad we didn't sign with this company as it would have cost us 50k more from the incorrect information they had provided us. Im disappointed as they clearly don't care about their customers and just their bottom line. Very coincidental they haven't had any feedback for 10+ months then after I advised I would post a review they have some 5 star ratings.
