Young Street Cottage

We had a great stay at Young Street Cottage. Jenny had thought of everything. Clean, very comfortable and great location . Character filled cottage with all the necessary comforts. This little house just added to the joy of our family wedding weekend. Cheers Jenny.

Stayed 2 nights 28-29 April 2022.Three bedrooms beautifully decorated. Loved the old century charm of the 1950's there abouts wooden nail boxes and cane baskets before all the plastic packaging came in. Everything there you need and more. Big BBQ area out back we did not use. Thank you Jenny; highly recommended: was perfect as our base for our family to attend a wedding.

This is such a fun piece of history. It's like staying in a piece of Nagambie's past, updated with the mod cons to make you comfortable. The house itself is a treasure hunt, with all sorts of great artefacts from the past dotted around the three bedrooms, living room, kitchen and separate dining room. The courtyard out the back was dappled in sunlight and the grapevines were in fruit when we visited in Jan 2019. Very close to the town, the lake, and the beautifully restored Church across the road. A must for lovers of history, those who like a bit of character in their accommodation, or those looking for a quiet getaway. Could easily fit three couples and a kid, or a large family. All of the necessary bits and bobs for infants are there as well (cot, highchair, baby bath). A winner.
