Really enjoyed staying here, Sharon was really lovely and helpful, the location is very peaceful with wonderful views. The amenities provided were more than sufficient, awesome experience having a bath outside under the stars and also having a flushing toilet at the ready was great too. The yurt is amazingly warm and cosy, and Sharon's Mongolian Adventure Booklet is a must read! Would come back here anytime.

MISLEADING. There are now three yurts, two of which are on top of the hill as advertised and are simply stunning; however the third yurt is an afterthought and has no view (apart from a shipping container in the foreground) and is located in the bottom of the valley. On top of this, we had a tumultuous experience with a voucher for over two years. Our voucher was purchased when there was only the premium yurt, however they have since built more and we were given the inferior valley floor yurt which is very close to the hosts house. This particular yurt is not advertised on any booking sites or the hosts own website. All pictures are of the top two yurts on the summit. When we advised the host of this mistake, she told us we should be grateful that shed honour the voucher in the first place, which is preposterous considering the host had cancelled on us several times over a two year period as they didnt have a permit, and multiple other times due to double bookings on their behalf (one time only 24 hours out). On top of this It was very difficult to communicate with the host right up to the check in process (when we arrived at the scheduled time, we spent 30 minutes calling both Sharon and John's mobiles as well as their landline). Because there had been so many issues in the lead up, we never felt confident that our booking was going ahead. In summary, if you are lucky enough to get one of the top yurts, Im sure you would have a fantastic time and a very different experience, I just urge you to confirm what yurt you are getting when you book as we definitely didnt get what had been paid for.

The Yurt was amazing. I dont think there are any photos of the shower but it was the highlight for me and my partner. The views are outrageously amazing. The yurt is warm and well insulated. The bed is super comfy. We went to Paradise Falls which was spectacular. The photos of this online do not do it justice. Whitfield was gorgeous as well. Stopped at Hobbledehoy Cafe and Distillery and the coffee was really great. They had some great local alcohols and foods. Stopped at Pizzini on the way back and such a stunning place. I will say that it is very windy there which made it challenging to cook and use fire but other than the uncontrollable natural elements it was a very special place. Sheep and goats also come right up to the yurt. I wish we had a few more days there to do more wineries and to check out Chestnut and do more hikes, walks and look outs. There is no shortage of activities in surrounding areas.

If you are looking for quiet and calmness this is the place. They have 3 Yrts and all of them are incredible. There are 2 on the top of the mountain and they have 360 digress view. In the beginning, our reservation was for that one down the mountain but the kindly host Sharon told us we will get the second one on the top. Everything was settled and the Yurt was great. They could add more attractive activities such as horse riding, animal feeding. Indeed, my kids asked them if they can feed some sheep and they liked the idea but we missed the time for that. I highly recommend this place.
