    Artwork destroyed I contracted King and Wilson to transport a $10,000 artwork - of great emotional and sentimental significance - from Sydney to Melbourne. I had no end of trauma. The artwork was collected in Sydney by King and Wilson and hours later the company went into administration, and the painting sat in limbo for weeks in a Sydney depot. I was told by the administrators that I'd have to pay for another transport company to deliver the artwork, but in the meantime King and Wilson was bought by Grace, and Grace delivered the artwork. However, it arrived with multiple gouges, scratches, and scuffs to the surface of the painting, and three edges of the hardwood timber frame were cracked and broken. I contacted Grace management on multiple occasions and they took a long time to tell me that they'd accept no responsibility for the damage, and that it must have occurred in King and Wilson's 'care'. When I'd made the booking I believed that the artwork was insured because the online booking form requested me to include the value of the artwork 'for insurance purposes', leading me to believe that it was covered by a company insurance policy. And when I finalised the booking with a King and Wilson representative, there was no offer of insurance. In any case, I find it odd that a company charges an additional premium for insurance in the likelihood that it's staff won't look after goods in its care. I'm devastated at the destruction of the artwork, the lack of care by the people handling it, and the attitude of management, who were more keen to distance themselves from the issue than they were to make amends. UPDATE: The owner's response below from Grace contradicts an email I received from Alexandra Zsiros of Grace management; this is a direct quote: "Grace did not collect or pack the work ourselves as these services were completed by King and Wilson and Grace then retrieved the work from King and Wilsons depot and completed the delivery on your behalf. As such, Grace cannot be held responsible for the damages that appear to have been sustained during the packing and collection process when in transit back to the warehouse and whilst in King & Wilsons care." This is another disappointing response from this company.

    Absolutely fantastic experience, made the whole process moving interstate less stressful, from quote to organizing, picking up and dropping off the whole team and contractors where fantastic and very prompt. We packed all our boxes and folded down furniture where possible but everything made it from Melbourne to Brisbane with storage for 8 weeks we have glass furniture dinning table tv unit etc and nothing smashed or cracked not even our drinking glasses everything was how we left it. I am so happy with these guys and so surprised all our stuff made it!! Would highly recommend and would use again.

    Company went into administration, following collection of our goods, items were not rapped & poorly packed so lots of damages and 16 missing boxes? Grace bought a lot of their assets and if you call K&W Grace will answer. Wont recommend either!!

    These guys did a great job! Shipping my bike + box from the UK to Australia. Communication was great and always updated me on the movements. Calls to book in a delivery date days before and the driver called on the day too. They even changed my delivery address which was incredibly helpful! Thank you for delivering in one piece!
