Every time we walk around our beautiful home, we are filled with happiness and gratitude. The team at Holbrook were as committed to our vision as we were and we continue to be impressed with the flexibility of design and the quality of workmanship as we grow into the lovely spaces that we worked together to create. Norm provided a wealth of experienced knowledge and helped us navigate our first build by offering feedback on a suitable block and suggesting a wonderful regional town with a strong community backbone in beautiful Romsey. Norm also made himself available whenever we asked about construction, planning and design processes and we had so many questions. Norm's biggest strength however, is his ability to listen and intuit our needs. Di and Norm worked on countless drafts of a layout to meet ALL of our wishes while working within a restrictive building envelope. I will never forget viewing our first drawing and thinking 'Wow, they really listened!" and then watching Di tweak a small part of the plan to create a larger mud room before our eyes and I teared up thinking I had just witnessed a process of alchemy as the drawing had suddenly transformed in to our home. Brett and Kathrynn never wavered in their support to make sure that all of the design processes went smoothly. Kathrynn's attention to detail and client satisfaction is staggering! Our Site Manager Dave also provided excellent communication and ensured we were happy with the quality of every stage of the build. Holbrook have not just constructed our house, they have built our dream.

We have just finished our house design process with Holbrook Homes and are delighted with the outcome! Our block of land is in a new estate in Kyneton, and poses special challenges as the front is north facing. Kyneton has a very cold climate and a regular house design, where the living areas face south, would literally leave us cold. What's more, it is a corner block, so we wanted a design with two attractive facades and that provided space for nice gardens on both frontages. Volume builders don't have such designs, and we couldn't afford the kind of architect-designed house you see in the glossy magazines. Thankfully Holbrook Homes was one of the recommended builders in the estate. Starting with a unique basic concept, over a period of time Holbrook worked with us to develop and refine a totally custom design that works brilliantly on the block and is within our budget. That's great, but is only half the story. Designing a new home from scratch is a very personal journey, at least it has been for us. And it is the people you get to know at Holbrook who make that journey worthwhile. There was Norm, our first contact, who set us on the right design path in the early stages. Di, who expertly drew the plans, is not just creative but also came up with great ideas we would never have thought of. Brett's deep experience and knowledge of construction ensured our design was not only what we wanted, but practical and within our budget . And last but definitely not least Kathrynn, who guided and administered the process from initial plans through to contract. Her thoroughness and command of detail are as impressive as her patience with us! We are so glad we chose Holbrook. They are big enough to provide the cost benefits of a volume builder, small enough to provide a custom design, and personable enough to make the design journey fulfilling.
