One of my favourite spots. In the caldera of an extinct volcano. Beautiful shady trees, lush green grass, space for the kids to play in the centre. Lots of spots to camp around the outer section of the caldera, surrounded by trees climbing the inner slopes of the volcano. New toilet block is scheduled to be finished before Easter. They are still drop toilets but made of easily cleaned metal. Daylesford and Hepburn Springs are just a ten to fifteen minute drive away. Thermal springs, great restaurants and gift shops.

Lalgambook lets to connect to its brother mountain Djarrengower. When at difficult times of disagreement their argument meant they threw giant boulders at each other. The older won the argument and was right after all. That we must respect each other and the women of our Clans that are to be matriarchs and being knowledge of the world to make us stronger as clans and families. Together we are stronger always.
