MOUNT CLEAR MEDICAL CENTRE

My Mum was illegally placed into the Facility next door to this i.e. the Mt Clear Aged Care Elderly Home (now the Estia Health Mount Clear) by my Sister, and with the lack of CARE and COMPASION and MEDICAL TREATMENT given to my dear Mum by both the Dr who works here and the Aged Care Facility, during the 3 months, 2 weeks and 4 days (12th January 2023 to 30th April 2023) of her not being correctly looked after by the Dr who works here, my dear Mum was found unresponsive in a chair in her bedroom on the 30th April 2023. She was pronounced DEAD around 3.30am on the 1st May 2023 at the Ballarat Base Hospital Emergency Section. I would not send a dying Cat here or to the Elderly home. Walls will tumble

Went their with swallen glans and thyroid playing up and all the doctor said was to take Panadol and Nurofen no blood test or nothing

Nothing good to say about this place other than it is local, bulk-billed, and, provided you are first appointment, you are likely to see a doctor without too much of a wait. The two doctors I have seen were both very kind and pleasant. Neither helped in any way whatsoever, however. Although, it must be said that I've yet to find a good GP regardless of location or billing structure. I've seen plenty of private GPs who are just as clueless. The facilities are in desperate need of updating. The rooms are straight out of the 80s. They are cold, uninviting and cheaply made. You can hear people using the toilets. Doctors have no facilities or equipment in the rooms. Doors do little to stop noise.

terrible service. only doctor worth seeing is Dr. Kingsley. Dr Yoong is terrible, a liar, and in general a narcissistic person. absolutely do not recommend
