        If you find yourself in the Heathcote wine region, don't miss out on visiting Silver Spoon Estate! The wine is truly exceptional, but what sets this place apart is the warm and knowledgeable staff. They were happy to share their winemaking process with me, and I found it fascinating. As someone with gluten sensitivities, I was thrilled to see so many delicious gluten-free food options on the menu. And of course, I can't recommend their award-winning 98 pt Hallmark Shiraz highly enough. Overall, I had an amazing experience at Silver Spoon Estate and highly recommend it to anyone passing through the area.

        This winery impresses with its environmentally friendly approach to wine making. They are totally off grid and do not irrigate. The wines are high quality and a delight to drink. To accompany our wine tasting, we had a tasty charcuterie and cheese platter. The restaurant is fairly with a nice view over some vines and was cool on a stinking hot day. Well worth the short drive from Melbourne.

        We did not have time to enjoy the menu but did sample the wines and they were beautiful. Whilst I cannot profess to having a sophisticated palate I certainly know what I enjoy and these wines were luscious and drinkable. A must see/taste.
