I've always been very scared of shoes with wheels, rollerblades though have always lived rent free in my nightmares. It had reached an all time low when I couldn't sleep out of fear of my first ex-husband rollerblading through my slumber and telling me he wants a divorce all over again. My therapist told me it was time to overcome my fears by sitting in a rollerskating rink for at least an hour a week until I became strong enough to slip my feet into some blades and do a few laps. I decided to take the plunge at this specific rink as it is the suburb my second ex-husband works in and I was hoping to bump into him to ask him why he doesn't plague my dreams as he s much more attractive than my first ex-husband. The first time I came here, I couldn't even make it out of my car. The second time, I made it in and within fourteen visits, I built up the courage to slip my feet into some pungent blades. By my twenty-eighth visit, I managed to get myself out onto the floor. I couldn't believe I had let my fear of wheeled shoes stop me for all of these years. I have already joined a local rollerblading group. This rink has saved my life. Instead of nightmares tormenting my sleep, I now cannot wait to rest my eyes as it allows me to blade even more. I'm considering moving closer to Mordialloc just to be closer to the rink and of course, my second ex-husband who I've unfortunately not bumped into yet.

Good skating center if your by yourself. Don't recommend going to the disco because there are so many little kids who have no idea

I LOVE this place. The SOUTH part of one of my friend groups Skate Tour. Out of all of the skating rinks Ive been at so far, this is DEFINITELY my favourite. Best with music, staff and the retro feel, plus super close to home. But there IS some room for improvement: - Please sell hot chips! These are an all-time favourite - Please dont cut song requests for games, once the request is elapsed feel free to pause for a game - PLEASE make adult-only discos on either the Friday or the Saturday. I love kids but sometimes theyre way too much. I think the Friday one should be for Family as an after-school treat and the Saturday one be adults-only so we can go hard on requests and be ourselves. And if parents need to walk on the rink to help kids, I think thats WAY more appropriate for Learn to Skate sessions and not a disco where people want to let loose. If all of these are fixed, SOLID 10/10. Always will be my favourite
