Wood & Bone

My favourite breakfast place so far!! It was amazing. Ive been there before and today again on mothers day (which obviously was a busy day for cafs/restaurants) and the staff was extremely friendly, the food was quickly served and had an awesome quality. I had the Wood&Bone Waffles which have an extraordinary balance of sweet and savoury, mind-blowing!! Made my day!

Easy booking over the phone, easy car parking, beautiful ambience. Delicious steak cooked to perfection with the amazing pepper and marrow sauce; and the fish of the day served beautifully with mass and greens. Would give 5 stars but the newbie waitress did not know anything about the menu and presented us an over charged bill.

How this place isn't booked out weeks in advance bewilders me. The food was incredible, we had the platter for two with a couple of sides. The smoked wings were delicious and the sweet bbq sauce accompanied the meat platter perfect, was to die for. The wait staff were incredibly pleasant and attentive. We had an infant with us, they were accommodating with a high chair and engaged with him. Our glasses were never left empty with table service. David was our waiter and he was extremely personable and made for a lovely dining experience. I couldn't recommend this restaurant enough, we will definitely be back.
