I visited two other mechanics prior to Voldat. They had my car for over a month combined and still couldnt diagnose the problem. When I called John to bring the car down and I explained the issue he already knew what it was without even seeing it and upon inspection he was right. They had it fixed and ready for me the next day at an amazing competitive price. Cant believe my luck finding Voldat. Wont be going anywhere else moving forward.

I used jon a couple of times to fix minor issues hes super knowledgeable and old school mechanic. He fitted me in at drop of a hat.. first fixed first my rad hose (very reasonable) and then reset a sensor (engine warning light) at no cost. Recommended.

I used these guys a few time last time I had some issues fixed with my car.. drive away with my petrol tank leaking after paying $1250 to fix it and a new timing belt. Drive away fill up at petrol station and $80 of petrol spews out slowly - problem not fixed buuuuut I paid for a new 0 ring my car did t need and reservoir which my car didnt need. Took the car back and paid for Ubers through the nose to get home in port Melbourne thinking Im getting the best service. Took the car back and this time paid another $1295 for a new rubber which should have been isolated as the problem to start with. Drive away and every three hours coolant is leaking so I get that fixed with new radiator. They damage a hose near the engine hose in the process and suddenly my ignition coil isnt working and coolant is still running empty with warning light. Went to another mechanic who said Id be getting a new mechanic, thats disgusting to do that to a customer. The new mechanic charged me $509 to repair the damage he said was done by voldat. The new mechanic replaced the damaged hose and the ignition coil fault and said in their service of your car no new oil has been put in for voldats $650 service fee. Stay away from John Johnson and his merry men. When a complaint was made over the phone he couldnt care less. STAY AWAY. A crook. Services: Auto maintenance, Oil change, General repairs & maintenance
