I dont get enjoyment writing this review. Any small business needs to work within their own strengths and constraints. But this experience needs to be called out. My wife was referred by a specialist for a hearing test. She was also keen to discuss whether a hearing aid would assist her poor hearing in one ear. After paying for the hearing test, she was charged a $160 consultation fee for a 10 minute conversation about the hearing aid. She was told that the fee would be rebated if she put a deposit on a hearing aid there and then, which she did. There was no opportunity to think about it. When she got home, we did some research and found that the device cost was dramatically higher than most other providers. She called them within 5 hours to cancel the order and was told it was too late, and she would lose her deposit. In the end the saving was so great that we chose to go elsewhere. After challenging Ready To Hear again on their misleading conduct, the deposit was refunded. A device that Ready To Hear quoted $4,050 for was $2,295 at Hearing Savers. The consultation, setup, and after sales follow up at Hearing Savers was free for 12 months. The service was excellent. It is worth noting that within Ready To Hears fee, a charger was quoted at $800. Other providers are charging $200, or bundling it. How can that possibly be justified? Yes, the larger providers have buying power, but that difference, along with the pressure to put down a deposit makes me very uncomfortable about Ready To Hears business practice. Sorry, but it has to be called out for what it is. I was tempted to add photo of the 2 quotes to show they are apples for apples, but I dont know what privacy issues are involved in posting online.

Senior Audiologist Michelle Loeliger, is not only thorough and patient, she is also very compassionate and caring. Many thanks Michelle. I feel supported beyond just my hearing health.

Had to have an emergency test done today, was given an appointment very promptly. The service was very personal, thoughtful and not at all intimidating. There was also time and space for me to get my questions answered. Would definitely recommend Ready to Hear to anyone who needs their audiology tests done.
