Dr Guy Olorenshaw - Ophthalmologist

I've just had my 3 month post LASIK surgery check up. I wanted to wait until well after surgery to post this review. Dr Guy Olorenshaw is a very gentle and respectful doctor. I felt I could completely trust him from the moment I first met him. He described the procedure in detail and answered my questions. I experienced absolutely no pressure or obligation to go ahead with the surgery, unlike another surgeon I visited previously. I felt I was in safe hands pre-surgery, during surgery and post-surgery. During surgery Guy described each step and also during. He was very reassuring and encouraging during the whole process. I couldn't be happier with the results and I couldn't thank Guy and his team enough.

Had my laser vision correction with Dr Guy and his team last year and I cant thank them enough for the detailed care pre and post the surgery. I had an accident late last year, where I poked my eye and scratched the cornea, as it was EOY there was no optometrist willing to see me. I called Dr Guys team and they took me in and examined the situation thoroughly which made me feel reassured that I wasnt going to go blind. I was sent home with eye drops and check ups booked in. And whats more heart warming, this was all free of charge as Dr Guy cares for his patients for a year post the surgery Am very glad that I had done this with Dr Guy and not anyone else

I went to see Dr Olorenshaw for Lasik surgery. He's one of the most professional and considerate doctor I've come across. After a thorough check up, he was sorry to tell me that I wasn't suitable for the surgery. He explained to me in detailed why this wasn't suitable for me. The way which he puts his patients benefit first really impressed me. If there's future surgery which can remove my glasses, I will definitely go to him. It's not easy to find such a caring doctor. I've heard many stories which patients develop complications after the laser eye surgery and they weren't suitable to have it in first place. I'm so glad that I saw a good doctor!

I recently had laser eye surgery performed by Dr Guy Olorenshaw. I am someone who is very uncomfortable with people (including myself) touching near my eyes. Prior to laser eye surgery I had 14 contact lense fitting sessions at my Optometrist, but could never get the lenses in. With much trepidation I decided to have laser eye surgery. Dr Olorenshaw and staff assessed my suitability for laser eye surgery, explained the procedure and after care. Dr Olorenshaw was very assuring and calming during the procedure. My eyes are now better than ever. I give Dr Olorenshaw and his service my highest recommendation.
