Can you believe I found out about this gem whilst holidaying in Adelaide when I was informed about l'ucello? What a gorgeous shop! Beautiful fabrics , vintage kits, buttons, laces, embroidery cottons, the list goes on. If not buying, lovely for a browse. And...It's situated in the old Cathedral Arcade off Flinders Street.

I recently bought from l'uccello, a lovely selection of sheeny textured threads, pieces of vintage fabrics, ceramic buttons and a sweet little tin of tacking pins. The package arrived in time for my niece's birthday, beautifully wrapped and oozing with quality and charm. My niece was over the moon with her gift and so was I.

What a wonderful hidden gem in Melbourne! A variety of sewing items, fabrics and kits to make unique projects. Lots of inspiration. It's rare to find shops like these nowadays. This shop is preserving the craft of sewing - do check it out. You will be impressed! A great place to buy gifts and handmade cards made out of vintage sewing items.
