I used Law Lab for my first home and it went smooth until a staff member name Liz H. took over my case. She kept requesting some paperworks even though I had sent her twice. I was requested to pay full amount of Stamp Duty fee even though I told her that I'm eligible for FHB benefit, and I tried to call her twice but she refused to talk to me and put me back to receptionist. More than that, I didn't even know my settlement date until my broker and the real estate agent emailed me to notify, and on the day of settlement, Liz just rang me out of nowhere to let me know that the settlement was done. Last but not least, after my settlement day, I was requested to send back extra $2,700 because she stuffed up with the calculation. She caused me so much distress and upsetting because of her carelessness. Liz only wanted to talk to me when I showed my attitude towards her service at the end. In general, Law Lab is still very good at responding and be responsible, I just wasn't happy about Liz with her lack of duty of care and skills.
