Stopped with the kids for a pie. I had heard how good the pies were so had planned a visit for some time. We weren't disappointed. The pies were fresh out of the oven, crusty tops and delicious chunks of proper beef...yum. We also tried the oversized raspberry meringue, which was out of this world. The changing leaves made for an even more beautiful than normal setting and parking in the lower carpark, our noses were full of lavender scents . All round lovely experience.

Plenty of choice on the menu. Ordered coffees and food. Service poor brought food out and had to wait another 15mins for our drinks and it wasn't particularly busy. Sausage rolls were cold. Place was cold. Not a great experience Parking: Plenty of parking.

Ive come here for many years; its always a stop in when Im near red hill. The apple pies are delicious. This visit however, the service was really lacking. There were staff standing around, it took a long while to get someone to take our order, we waited about 10 minutes for our takeaway coffees even though there was no one waiting ahead of us. Quite a few people came in after we ordered, all confused as wait staff continued to stand or walk around without paying any attention to their customers. Really disappointed. Bring back the lovely, quick service!
