Macleod Village Green Playground

Problems: the playground is not fully fenced, and because it is long, with roads at either end, having two kids and one adult here means racing after runaway kids(and they'd be nearly invisible running out from behind parked cars onto the road). The toilets are across the road, again necessitates the whole family packs up and goes together if there aren't more than one capable adult. The water play creek bed doesn't have water play yet? Just stagnant water sometimes? I dunno, seems incomplete or maybe just poorly designed, but the kids don't seem to play here all that much, which is a bit sad, because it's probably the most visually appealing part of the playground, to my mind. But the park is otherwise fun, with climbing, sliding and swinging, and musical instruments. More importantly it's located on the village green, so it's easy to grab a coffee and some food and eat while the kids are distracted. (But seriously, stay vigilant, that incomplete fence means you might have kids running in opposite directions and both straight towards roads). The electronic game is fun, and tiring running around racing the kids or the timer.
