Thoroughly unimpressed. Used car sales approach to mediation. Dodgy, unprofessional practice by the mediator. After submitting a formal complaint there was no action until I escalated it to an outside complaints mechanism, then the 'review' that was done was clearly a rushed, inside job. They couldn't even spell my name right on the response, talked about how great they were before they then used a bunch of excuses to say why they couldn't continue mediation, referring to issues that they knew *before* they started and took the $420 intake fee. Don't go near them.

Very smooth and efficient way to learn and achieve qualifications. High standards required meant that I needed to be very thorough and organised - a good experience to keep my own professional standards up. Thanks Cynthia, Ken, Brian and Peter.

From the moment I called the Mediation Institute (MI) in Oct'22, I was greeted with respect and positivity. The format of the course is brilliant. It provides students with an abundance of resources, quizzes, weekly Q&A sessions, role players and mediation opportunities. You can pace yourself and their is a genuine collegial vibe amongst students. To complement the training is the mentoring available. It's first class. Objectively, I can't see how one can be deemed to be competent if cramming a similar course in one week, especially for such an onerous qualification that will affect lives. Well done MI and thank you!

I looked at a number of NMAS courses and found that the self paced, online nature of the Mediation Institute was perfect for me. The staff and other participants were all extremely supportive.

I would highly recommend this course to anyone seeking to become a qualified mediator. The theoretical content of the course is of the highest level, the training is rigorous, challenging and engrossing. The one on one mentoring provided is not replicated in any other training course that I am aware of it and it is of the highest standard. The mentors are experienced mediators who go above and beyond to make sure that students understand the course requirements. They support the students to be successful in not only their assessment but also in a practical sense in a workplace situation. The use of technology and self paced learning allows flexibility and engagement. There is a real sense of community and connection with students and mentors all supporting the success of the other individuals undertaking the course. Overall an extremely positive experience.
