Keith Winters and his admin staff have been amazing throughout my time with them, very prompt and responsive. My surgery went extremely well and recovered quicker than expected, would recommend Keith and his team to anyone in need of an orthopaedic surgeon

I was referred to Keith Winters by my GP, I went in with X-rays and and ankle soreness, on my first consultation Keith straight up said that i needed an Ankle fusion from reviewing my x-rays, I was a little taken back because I had never thought my ankle was so bad and a fusion was quite serious. I referred myself to a couple of physios for guidance and they told me how serious it is. Keith suggested that I can have an arthroscope to clean the area and fracture the bone to create a cushion, I opted to have the arthroscope to hopefully get a few years of movement without pain but the result was not great because Keith managed to have a closer look inside to find that the bones had worn into each. I finally had the fusion not, 100% sure still, but Keith reassured me that the movement that Id lose had already been lost due to swelling and the joint collapsing, and that the pain in the ankle joint would be gone. I wont lie, the healing is very uncomfortable but Im know 3.5-4moths post surgery and everything is great! I should have listened to Keith in the first place. He has been the most patient surgeon/person especially dealing with my indecisions and having my wife asking many, many questions! The entire process has been great from all staff, the final result from Keiths work is brilliant, my only problem was was that I left without properly thanking him when leaving.

Recently had major bone graft surgery with Keith Winters from the moment he spoke to me to discuss my surgery I knew this was the right man for the job!Mr Winters has an amazing bed side manner and more importantly has your Heath and healing in check.He listens and has a very caring manner ,which I needed as my bone from previous surgeries had to be reconstructed again.After 14weeks I had another smaller surgery and again was looked after with five stars he is a gem. We are lucky to have this surgeon on the peninsular. Goodluck with your surgery everyone.Since my review Ive had 2 more surgeries from Keith ,this surgeon is brilliant!we are grateful for his skill!If Keith is doing your surgery please do yourself a favour and go to The Bays Hospital in Mornington!the care and food is 5 star .!
