Ive tried 3 times to be a customer but it seems impossible. Phoned and was was told to send a text as he was busy working on a car. Sent the text and had no response. That was 3 months ago. I dont have Facebook so I sent a WhatsApp message and have had no response. That was a week ago. Would dearly love to get my car fixed and give these guys some money for parts but unfortunately, they dont seem to want to help.

Be very wary when dealing with Steve at The Benz Shed. I purchased a car recently from him. I trusted in his expert car knowledge, honesty and integrity and boy was i let down. Can was described as very clean when i asked about rust, was told it had no body rust, it had a small amount in the front guard that was removed and plated. Has no rust, however has a couple of small surface rust marks. Now he is a car guy, im a car guy. We know the difference between surface, scale and corrosion. Surface rust Affects the top layer of your car and usually occurs in bumps and nicks to body panels. Treating the damage at this stage will give you the best hope of avoiding the spread. Scale rust This is when surface rust has been left long enough to eventually corrode the metal on body panels.Corrosion, where scale has grown and eaten through the steel. This car has perforations in doors sills and panels. Not surface, it has holes. A lot of body work required to get this car to "as described" condition. Then we look at interior, all photos show a nice interior, however the drivers seat is torn top to bottom, yet photos of drivers seat taken on an angle not to show this. The key was broken off in the ignition. After speaking to Steve, as this car is not as described, he puts it on me saying he told me. Which he absolutely did not, photos prove that alone. Currently, I have not paid a small freight bill for transport. It's around $2k. I have asked him to make me whole on this deal as it is not like photos nor like description. His reply was he has a firm he uses my way to take debts on. I told him straight up, I have no issue paying the freight bill, AFTER he makes this right. People need to be called out on their dishonesty. Money is hard to earn. If your going to sell something, represent it for what it is. If its got a torn seat, take a photo. Not hard. If the keys broken off in ignition say so. If it has corrosion, take a photo and let customer know. In the add ot clearly states no rust in floors or doors, there is rust in them. I have his photos and I have taken photos, looks like 2 different cars.
