Dog-friendliness: Always great to see free public campgrounds with dog friendly camps after all a lot of us have a dog as part of our family

Dirt road, might not suit all cars when rainy but worth the drive as the location was absolutely gorgeous- went on a Monday and we had the site to ourselves, beautiful view, fires and pets allowed, would definitely go back.

Camped for a few nights over the Labour Day long weekend and it was amazing! Can be a bit hard to find a campsite if you don't arrive early on these weekends but we had a great time! Will definitely revisit. Pros: - Easily accessible for 4wd and other cars - you enter through a dirt/gravel road. - Beautiful views. - Heaps of activities: fishing, boating, 4wd, motorbike riding - most campsites have a place you can launch small boats from. - Really well kept campsites. - Whilst we were there someone was driving around selling firewood - not sure if this is the case always. Cons: - No toilets, showers or cooking facilities. - You tend to camp in close proximity to other groups so just be aware of this if you have kids! - Lots of mozzies - bring bug spray. - No phone reception.
