Make no mistake this hike isnt easy! A few people had to turn back. One of the most challenging my partner and I have done, especially the first boulder/rock scramble (which was not easy to descend either) Recommend not going alone and having a few people around to help each other out getting up and down the various scrambles. We went on a hot day but would be more pleasant in milder weather. Very nice view at the top and the caves are cool!

Hiking in Gariwerd Country. I had the privilege of experiencing one of the best rock face hikes ever. It's truly a wonderland up there on the rocks, and the 360-degree view from the top is absolutely stunning. Upon reaching the summit, you'll feel an incredible sense of serenity that can't be bought anywhere. Take your time to engage with the magnificent view and pay respects to our ancestors for a moment. If you're planning to visit this place, be aware that it requires a high level of hiking skill, ranging from level 3 to 5. The hike involves a few rock climbing and cliff walks, which can be dangerous, especially when the wind is blowing. Be sure to bring plenty of water and some snacks, and most importantly, carry a first aid kit. This climb is not suitable for children under 12, and you must be fit and not afraid of heights. Additionally, it's essential to have proper shoes with good grip, and if possible, bring a hiking stick. It's important to remember that Gariwerd country is the land of our ancestors, so we must be respectful, safe, and enjoy our hike up here.
