Had a total knee replacement done by Shay. Recovery and final result far exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended!

Dr Zayontz operated on Mum's hip over a month ago. He has been a wonderful communicator, always available for questions and returning calls, and this has been very reassuring for Mum. The surgery went well, with no complications, and Mum is on the road to a great recovery.

My fathers knee surgery was a disaster. After returning to Mr Zayontz two months later in great pain he was assured everything was fine with the surgery but 5 years later the same procedure had to be done all over again. The new surgeon found a screw had fallen out and the knee was full of fragments of cement. Six weeks later Dad is walking around and on the road to a pain free recovery. We would not recommend Mr Zayontz. If I could give him no stars I would.

My knee was a basket case and as a road cyclist I was in a lot of pain riding my bike. Thanks to Shay my knee (replacement) is now fabulous and at 60 plus I can now ride up Mt Wellington in Hobart. For those who know about Strava a cyclist bible I am smashing times in my age group. Shay did a 10 star job. Mike

In 2016 my mother (Margaret Garvey) had bi lateral hip replacements and the surgeon was Dr Shay Zayontz at Cabrini hospital. The result was a total success with return of movement to normal level. Total lack of pain after having been unable to walk without assistance for a number of years. This absolutely delightful, helpful and supportive Doctor has completely changed her life for the better. In Marg's words, "how lucky i am to have had a surgeon that has given me back my life and mobility" Thank you Shay, you are the best.
