        Nice staff and tasty food at good prices in a beautiful historic setting. Loved it. The perfect sunday in the Central Highlands. Food & drinks: We had a fabulous meal after cycling across from Clunes on the perfect autumn day.

        There is a great atmosphere at this recently reopened hotel. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived. There was so much to look at that we took ages to actually sit down and order. I loved all the sculptures in the garden. The food was really a secondary concern but it was delicious. Two of my friends had the open steak sandwich- they could easily have had one between them - they were HUGE!! I had the chicken schnitzel with a really nice salad and fantastically tasty chips. Do yourself a favour and head here asap. Its open Wednesday to Sunday
