Skipworth Reserve, South of Jamieson

Great area to camp

Awesome place to camp, even in bad weather. Heaps of room and 2wd accessible. Toilets are long drops and plenty of them (I think I counted 3 or 4 toilet blocks, byo toilet paper), very clean and well maintained. Went up on Labour Day weekend and still found a spot. Water was just down an embankment and was crystal clear. Dog friendly and lots of places to walk about. Highly recommended for free camping.

Camping area is great but be prepared to be surrounded by large groups on weekends who love to play loud music from 11am to 4am. The group next to us has played girls just wanna have fun 4 times in the last hour! If you are hearing impaired this could be the campground for you. If not, perhaps come midweek!

It's my favourite spot to free camp. The only problem with that is that it is everyone else's as well. Very busy. Toilets clean. There are always some one who ruin it by leaving their rubbish and those who take their dirt bikes into the bush to destroy tranquillity and the environment..
