Turbine at The Trawool Estate

Just finished set menu dinner $69 pp. I had never eat anything gross like this in my life, and I have travelled a lot. Not to mention that you wait for an hour for a meal to start coming out. I wish Gordon Ramsay could see and taste this. Disapointing.

Fixed menu which sounded lovely but in actual fact was lacking. The main chicken dish was all large chunks of potato with 2 tiny, fatty bones with a tiny bit of chicken. The salad was just cabbage & chilli bits. The starters were nice but nothing out of the ordinary. We had to ask for clean plates but were told to keep our cutlery. Not the best dining experience.

Turbine at Trawool Estate is a beautiful space that has a great atmosphere and feels like a nice escape for a romantic dinner. The chef's menu is the only thing to order which Consists of a good selection of started mains and sides. The only options are the main itself and the deserts. Drinks list is decent without being fancy and the service is friendly although not attentive or fast. You may be left waiting or wanting, but the staff are helpful and friendly. The food here is ok but not great. Flavours are a bit bland and spice is a key in most dishes, but nothing exciting. Serving sizes are good and you won't leave hungry though, just not satisfied.

Incredible service and beyond amazing food! Do yourself a favor a go there. Beautiful venue, staff was so friendly and gave amazing service. Both food and drinks were fabulous
