        This picturesque hut is easily accessible off the Great Alpine Road opposite Dinner Plain. It is weather tight with a fireplace and one window facing the road. There are no benches, chairs or tables and the nearest toilet is Dinner Plain. It was a welcome shelter for our lunch during a recent trip when the snow was coming down and the wind was howling! Someone thoughtful had left firewood which we restocked before we left.
