Artisan Retreat

This is a simple weatherboard house, with a separate converted shed used as a creative retreat. House is renovated simply and updated where necessary. Everything worked easily - WiFi, internet. We used the wood fire box (which keep the whole house warm for days and with the flu closed used little wood). There are electrical heating and air-conditioning also. The spa bath in the bathroom is amazing, and after a day of walking around hilly tracks was a good choice. (my first spa bath for the year). This spa has lots of jets (10) and the jets are low(ish) in the water just at a very soothing height. Quiet area with quiet neighbours. Restful and welcoming homely. Surprisingly in Daylesford and Hepburn, about half of the eateries were closed for winter. So the cafes, restaurants, coffee shops were fully utilized with queues waiting. So we saved dollars on eating out and utilized the specialist delicatessens and supermarket, and had meals at 'the retreat'

If you want a cosy home away from home this is it. Situated in the Delightful Hepburn springs, a little away from the hustle and bustle of Dayelsford this is as serene as you get. With all the comforts of home. Beautifully decorated, with thoughtful little touches. Great fenced in yard for your furry friends. I certainly hope I can visit again soon

We loved our time at Artisan, and wish we could have stayed for longer! The house is wonderfully equipped, and includes a nice comfy couch, huge bath, and great kitchen. The retreat is gorgeous, and a lovely quiet spot to get a bit of work done (if you need!). Our dog loved exploring the yard, which is fully fenced and secure. Looking forward to our next stay :)
