Endocrinologist Melbourne | Dr Ada Cheung

Called to make an appointment with Dr Ada Cheung and was told I need to get a referral before making an appointment which initially seemed strange as I always make the appointment then go to my GP for a referral. I took time off work to get a referral from my GP and called once I left the GP. There was no answer so I emailed the referral through. I received a text today stating that I will be on a waiting list for months and that I should consider seeing another endocrinologist. I thought this was weird as I called a couple days prior and was told to get a referral prior to making an appointment. So I called again and this time they answered and in no way was the receptionist apologetic or even tried to empathise. I do not recommend this clinic, they are time wasters. To your receptionist, why would you not tell me over the phone that I will be on a waitlist? In 3 days your clinic realised it's now leading up to Christmas and you wont have availability? Surely you knew that when the date hit November? Absolute waste of my time! I now need to book another appointment with my GP meaning take more time off work. Have some consideration for your clients in future and maybe just explain over the phone prior to making clients get a referral and then wait months on end. Some clients have urgent issues but I guess there is no compassion in this clinic. I am so glad this has happened as I would not put the trust of my health in inconsiderate peoples hands! These people should not be working in this industry as they have absolutely no care for others.

Amazing lady that actually listens to her patients needs and happy to try things instead of forcing standard treatments that dont work for individual patients, Ive been to the rest and now Ive found the best, if you have CAH this is the endocrinologist you want A++++++ book an appointment cahers

Its Michelle DR Ada Cheung thank you for everything you have done for me at moment I am very happy to be a female I was a Male before but now am female and I love every minute of being a female that's thinks to Dr Ada Cheung she is fantastic and amazing woman I am so happy now being a female I love it because before being a Male with mitochondrial disease was very hard I could do anything now I can do stuff that I could do that is why Dr Ada Cheung is the best endocrinologist there is and her hole team is the best thank you.. My regards Michelle toppin Dr Ada Cheung is the best endocrinologist in the world her team is amazing and fantastic she is very friendly and fantastic to talk to she understands you that's why she is so amazing doctor her place is suite 9 level 2/50 upper heidelberg road IVANHOE VIC 3079 plus Austin hospital as well she so amazing woman you can tell she loves her job so much because she CARES about her PATIENTS that's what love about her she best specialist that i know that LISTEN to you about the problems that you have you can speak to her and she will listen to the problems you have with your body .
